I generally agree with your points but I still it’s absolutely fine to complain about stuff you don’t like. Youtube has gone to ridiculous lengths (including running code locally on other peoples computers without their consent) to figure out if thex have adblock enabled. Slowing down your platform on purpose?
And IMO it was an unwise business decision too. I know of no single person who after all this thought: “Hey, lets buy premium” or “Why not turn off my adblocker?”. Ultimately, it doesnt affect me because I use Newpipe anyway and it has no ads (its a Youtube frontend) but IMO complaints is what you get if you do stuff like that.
I don’t mind complaints, it was more of people’s entitlement that was getting to me; people expecting something for nothing.
