Do you also shine the light on the wrong body part? Its the weirdest thing. She also gets chiropractic treatment but her insistence that the warmth has to go to her belly really flabbergasts me.

She doesn’t understand why it’s there, just that it’s a warm cozy spot to be a very cute kitty

Oh dodo understands. She frequently attempts to burn her whiskers because runny nose. Which got massively better since we started infrared. And by now she also understands that it’s pain relief. She seeks out warm spots a lot more since this started. 💚

I mostly focus it on my back. I wear a heat/IR/vibration belt from time to time (don’t know how well it is actually doing). I think it affects my stomach as well, but I don’t know to what effect other than heat. I also lay on an arched back stretcher, that also does IR heat, for like 15 min at a time. Probably not something a cat could use! Hehe. It’s been a several year ongoing thing with me. I’m convinced nothing will really fix my back. But the search for more relief continues.

I’m not familiar with the thing you are using. It looks and sounds interesting. I hope it’s working, wherever Pandora prefers it! Good luck.

It might be referred pain. It’s in her back but she feels pain in her belly.
