The communities button can be used to view communities on other instances. Is it possible to filter it to show the most popular communities on only a specific or specific instances?
Every other instance besides lemmynsfw kicks me off my app every so often (happens with all apps) and then refuses to accept my login credentials. I’m sick and tired of it so I just going to main on my lemmynsfw one. Fuck it.
A potential problem you may experience are instances that have defederated from lemmynsfw. This functions as a shadow ban and you might have difficulty interacting with various communities.
The other problem is that if you’re the first user of your instance to attempt to navigate a community it’ll often throw an error while your instance builds a cache.
The problem you’re describing might be assignable to the recent update effecting your authorization token. This will naturally go away in time as Lemmy instances update their software.

When an instance migrates from Lemmy 0.18 to the new version 0.19 invalidates all users credentials and requires login again. Lemmynsfw is still in 0.18.
