Is the psu case open? Looks to me like the thing on the far side sticking up is the metal from the top of the PC case that’s been bent up to make space for the psu.
That’s what it looks like to me too. The case has been bent up, and the PSU has been taped to it. The PSU doesn’t seem to have been tampered with at all.
