Let me explain a bit more, I usually buy vaulted primes off of the warframe market, on xbox [the console I play on] she runs for about 250p on average. I am trying to get Mesa and Titania prime, so I was wondering if I should just put off those 2 and go for Saryn Prime, or if I can still make Saryn into a nuke, it’ll just take a bit more effort, and probably a bit more forma.
The prime versions aren’t generally a massive increase in power, the base saryn can wreck everything too. It’s just that people don’t like investing too many forma into something that they will discard later in favor of the prime version.
So I’d say it is your decision to make whether you want to wait for the prime one or not. Note that they have separate mastery xp so you’ll want to level both of them up to 30 eventually. There is also a game system later that will reward you if you keep the base saryn so don’t sell her off once you get the prime version (this goes for other frames too).
So personally I’d level the base saryn to 30, give it a try and see if I like the playstyle, and then get the prime one if I can afford it and if i want it, while saving the base saryn for something spoilerish that will unlock later on in the story.
I was about to write a spoiler. Good thing I saw this.
OP, just like what he said, you’ll want to make sure you have a spare for later on in the game. I recommend getting a prime version of frames (if available) and keep the OG since in my experience they’re easy to get and you can buy parts with plat.
Depends on the frame imo, early on i sold a bunch for slots as i was poor, not like excal or ember etc are difficult farms
This is the worst part of warframe for me, short of much newer frame, i will not spend a cent on something ill trash, you are effectively burning like 100 plat, more than the cost of entire prime frames sometimes
