Lots of talk across season one about the opening credits. How do we feel about them?

Personally, I’m a big fan of them using the iconic music, and I wouldn’t touch that with a ten foot barge pole.

The actual visuals? Utterly perplexing to me, and I say that as someone who’s familiar with the source material. I understand what they were going for but I think everything is a bit hard to parse.

    I don’t mind it at all. I was really pleasantly surprised to hear they reused the GoT theme. I mean, they were never going to come up with anything better, so why not just use that iconic piece of music.

    Hard agree about the music, if it ain’t broke and all that. The visuals though are muddy. The house sigils are poorly delineated and the blood lines aren’t well animated. I would love for them to switch it up, at least the way GoT added new territories and houses.
