    This thing fucking haunts me in my dreams.

    Hear one go off and my heart rate can jump from 45 to 160 bpm in ¼ seconds.

    I usually only hear that sound juuuust as i’m falling asleep and then i wake up and realized i haven’t worked a kitchen in 15 years.

    For some reason our boss wants all the tickets handwritten and brought to the kitchen, so I have not heard the ticket machine in a long time.

    Instead we can hear when they’re tapping the prders into the machine at the bar, so that’s what’s triggering us instead.
