While I’m weary of the fact so little of the original cast will return as regulars, the newcomers look like interesting choices that are fairly unknown. I’m particularly interested to see the dynamic between Kelsey Grammar and Nicholas Lyndhurst (who will play Alan, an old college friend of Frasier’s).

The tidbits I’ve read from those who’ve been to tapings sound promising, but who can say what’s an honest preview vs. a guerilla marketing campaign these days.

Despite my trepidation, I will absolutely be watching the premiere whenever it does come out (possibly delayed to the current strikes).
