Is this Bluesky comment true?
this means that every single tesla ever produced has now been recalled at least once.
I think so, but also technically some of the recalls were fixed by just an over the air software update so its not as serious as “bring every tesla back into the shop”
I don’t think so, but it’s a staggering number of them. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/tesla-recall-2-2-million-cars-warning-lights-nhtsa/
I think this encompasses every Tesla model ever produced except for the original Roadster, which was just a Lotus Elise with an electric motor.
That’s very red dirt so it has a lot of iron.

The lead engineer on Cybertruck at Tesla commented on this video via X: “Good myth busting. Stainless is reactive and free iron that sits on it will rust. It’s surface contamination only and can be cleaned off easily. Bar Keeper’s Friend used here works well, citrisurf77 can also loosen the deposit and simply wipe it off. If anything stubborn use a blue non-scratch Scotch Brite pad as it won’t leave any marks on the metal.”

Pfffffffft
I watched the latest Donut video on this vehicle and there’s SO many people replying to comments critical of the cybertruck with the biggest cope. My favourites are:
“many cars get recalled this is normal!”
“The recall isn’t a big issue, Toyota had a recall a while ago for the same reason!”
“New technology always has problems!”
It’s pure bazingamobile cope
“New technology always has problems!”
I love how they conflate things. Yes, it’s true that there might be a potentially dangerous problem that could in theory happen in a car like a Toyota. No amount of checking the design, testing, etc can find every possible issue. But the Cybertruck’s horrible “insta-full throttle death machine” issue that was no doubt due to boneheaded design and inadequate testing.
And if Toyota made a similar level of fuck up - I bet they’d do something extraordinary like permanently recall all the vehicles in question and give the owners a huge refund. They wouldn’t want their brand to be associated with insta-full throttle death machines. But Elon has no media department at Tesla so it’s no biggie. I bet the Cybertruck is already ruining relationships and marriages. Imagine how things are after the owners have their trucks back.
“Cyber time! Ready to ride again? I can’t wait to out on a family outing again. It’s time to go to the beach. Dipshit Jr. and River - where are you?”
“Stop yelling. We’ll go to the beach. But in my car. And I told them we’ll go pretty soon but now right now. First of all - I won’t have my children riding around in that death machine.”
“But honey! New technology always has problems!”
“We need to talk.”
all that hype from less than 4k units???
Elon is a hype magician. What he generates is unbelievable and untethered to reality.
