82% of what… Packages delivered??? Cmon meow
It’s in the image… % of citizens regularly facing package theft. Though that’s still pretty vague. How regularly is regularly? Seems incredibly high still.
The article literally says “at least once” – this rates are clearly nonsense and anyone who cannot see that should question their ability to detect bullshit.
Got you bro: 🔬
Yeah none of those percentages seem to make any sense.

These numbers are crazy pants high. I don’t believe any of them now. They ruined their credibility
Right?! Are they seriously suggesting that 80% of all packages delivered in Philadelphia are stolen?
“Porch piracy”? Huge opportunity missed to call it porch poaching.
In May 2024, we surveyed 3,000 Americans asking a number of questions regarding package theft. The age range was between 18-65 with all participants residing in the United States. Over half — 56% — were female, 42% were male, 1% identified as trans or non-binary, and 1% listed “other”.
I doubt a site called casino.org is pulling for a truly random sample. Their methodology disclaimer is lacking critical details. Their questions were likely slanted to increase the desired outcome.
