I’ve never tried them before, I just potted these cuttings today and they’re my first time growing cacti in a few years, before I used plastic or ceramic pots since they’re cheap.
I heard these can help with draining, and prevent root binding, so I was curious to try them last time I was growing cacti. Then a friend had two to spare so I got them for free, so it was an easy choice. Plus, no holes means less entry routes for the bermuda grass around here 🤞
i’ll still wait a few weeks to water them, since the bumpy cactus only had one root starting that I could see, but yeah I’m guessing with the quicker drying and AZ summer, I’ll probably need to water them more. How often do you water?
How are the cloth bag pots? Do you find you have to water them more often? I imagine they dry out a bit faster than “standard” solid pots.
