Fun fact: Neptune was discovered on 23 Sept 1846. It takes 164.8 Earth years for it to complete an orbit, which means that the first full Neptunian year since discovery happened 12 July 2011.

I wish news outlets wouldn’t use that false color photo for all of their stories about Pluto.
If you start from when it was discovered in 1930 It won’t have made a full orbit until 2178.
