The Hong Kong motion picture rating system introduced in 1988 is defined as "No persons younger than 18 years of age are permitted to rent, purchase, or watch this film in the cinema." I've tried to keep this list to just Category III films produced in Hong Kong, although the rating is applicable to films produced anywhere. 1988 - 1999 is generally considered to be the period when the most exploitative Cat III Hong Kong films were produced.     Brilliant - for some reason I thought I’ve seen that list of the HKMDB (who do have the category as part of their data but I don’t see any way to sort by it) but it was the other HK movie database. I haven’t counter but I don’t think it has everything, but it’s the most comprehensive so far.
