I was eating with a friend in a Shinjuku bar once when the only other foreigner in the place came up to us because we were speaking English. Dude proceeded to rant about how women in Japan were “stuck up bitches” because they refused to date him.
Nothing more entertaining than an orientalist fetishizing white dude running head on into the reality that actual Asian women don’t conform to the submissive geisha fantasy in their head.
