So I realized that lemmygrad must be banned in beehaw’s instance list, but I can still see beehaw user comments in lemmy.ml communities, if I respond to them can they see my comment?

I think you have to go to individual instances to see who’s been blocked
seems really weird, if I leave a reply to someone and dont get a response I have to go through the effort of going to their instance and checking the ban list, seems like an issue that should be fixed idk
That’s pretty much just a feature of federation - there’s not a centralized spot for information like that.
I dig that it’s kind of frustrating, though. I still reply to beehaw folks accidentally, sometimes
