Street Fighter, a classic game series that’s been part of many gaming lives, is getting a movie release! The much-anticipated film will hit the theaters on March 20, 2026.

As for what we know about the plot and cast, there are no details yet. However, Capcom is involved in its production alongside Sony, suggesting it might stick close to the spirit of the games that have impacted us for years.

Have you seen the 1994 film with Jean-Claude Van Damme and Kylie Minogue? How do you think this new film will compare?

That’s the cover art for SF6.

    Everything else, totally valid concerns.

Have to see what the casting is going to be like.

      Oh, cool thanks.

I haven’t played any of the new games, are they still really fun?

I’m excited to see the casting.

        yeah sf6 is fun,

i havent played the older games,
but from whad i heard, id describe the newer ones as more aggressive and less finicky(in terms of input precision / timing)

also online play has gotten way better(if that even was a thing when you last played)

Thanks for making me feel old. I haven’t played a Street Fighter game since the 1900s, and no, online wasn’t a thing.

Never have, I just off the old games and then slid into RPGs and off fighting games in general. Sounds fun though
