I have no problem with Behringer. Synth companies (and music companies in general for that matter) have copied each other for decades. Others have copied synths and filters with software but somehow it never gets as much flack.

As far as business practices? Every company sucks to some extent…even the good ones. It isn’t worth my time to vet companies when I can’t even find where the sourced components originate. I buy what sounds good and works for my work flow. Also…all of the Behringers in our house are used…so I didn’t even give them money to begin with. We have one life to live…there is only so many things one can worry about without going mad.

But if you want to boycott Behringer, then have at it. I can understand the concern and hesitation.

We need 2 bots who automatically post a back and forth of the two sides to the behringer argument on every behringer post. Just to save everyone some time.

I have the neutron and have seen videos about the proton. It looks like a neat piece of gear. Didn’t know they haven’t sent it out yet.

I was having a look at the neutron when they announced the proton. Held off to buy the proton. Now the neutron is discontinued (or just expensive?) and the proton is still not available 😭
