    Fun fact: if you exclude 2004 in which W Bush was an incumbent war time president, no Republican has won the popular vote since 1988.

      Exactly. And they know this. The demographics are dead set against Republicans ever winning another popular vote with their shit policies— which only benefit millionaires and billionaires.

      Trump will lose the popular vote again, as well. Hence the march to fascism, the capture of the state legislatures, etc. Even if/when Biden wins, there will be fuckery. January 6 was a dry run for the Republicans to work out the pesky wrinkles of democracy.
