minus-squarebonn2@beehaw.orglinkfedilinkarrow-up4·1 year agoFun fact infinity was made by one university student. And yet it is still infinity better than the official reddit app
minus-squaresugar_in_your_tea@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year agoIf it was open source and the dev was interested, I’d lend a hand. Jerboa is, so I’m helping there. I just want a stable lemmy app, and once that exists, I’ll probably stop working on it. But for now, it’s a fun diversion and feels impactful.
minus-squareFlax@feddit.uklinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 year agoYep. As much as I love Lemmy, Jerboa has it’s growing pains rn. Apparently someone is working on an API to make old reddit apps compatible with the lemmy API

minus-squareEinar@lemmy.mllinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 year agoSame. Dev hasn’t said anything in that direction, though. That said, Jerboa looks like its developing well. Other apps, like Sync, will follow and add to the existing options. The infrastructure is getting better and better week to week atm.
