More importantly, he’ll feel the same when 2028 elections come around, and we’ll get Trump for a third term when they interpret the max terms law much like Putin does in Russia; where he’s president up to the limit, they install a puppet for a single term, and then pop putin back in after.

I’m legit curious (no that’s not quite right, terrinquisive? Horrifious?) how they’ll justify the exemption from term limits. My gut says it’ll be something about two terms max consecutively for 2028, then if that works, just throw out the term limits in 2030 or have martial law spring up.

They’ll put him up as the VP and have the president step down. So Trump wasn’t elected, nor did he run for the office. So the rules don’t apply.

Edit: turns out Trump would be ineligible to be nominated for VP due to the 12th amendment in this scenario.

Cast doubt? That means repeated the “Big Lie”. Show me some evidence, just a shred. If not willing to certify election results this person should be found unfit to serve, in a real democracy of course.

Trumps not in the spotlight. He will have a temper tantrum momentarily

Until just now, this guy seemed to be a legit stable Republican: conservative social values and conservative fiscal policy. Apparently, I was mistaken. This guy’s public political values and stances were always what he needed to get ahead. Now, the dude did a surprise complete 180° on Trump, ruining any view of stability and trust the rational public had in him, just to run as Trump’s Vice President? A combat veteran that is now running under a convicted felon that attempted to overthrow the previous presidential election and has evident ties with Russia? No way. The Russians def got dirt on his ass. No one gets to work for Trump unless there’s coercive control. They’ve got kompromat on Vance, so they know he wont be a hero. Instead, he will follow orders. Vance has been compromised.

Looking at the big picture, I’m thinking one of the few ways out of this mess is to give politicians an amnesty period. It will suck to let them get away with it, but they’re getting away with it anyway and bringing the country down in the process. Unless some super clean hero that also has insane political capital comes along, we either we let compromised politicians openly get away with whatever the Russians uncovered and clean up this Russian coup, or we let them get away with it and fall into an autocracy allied with Russia.

Idk as an Ohioan, I’ve know this guys a piece of work for at least 8 years. No research was required when the pick was made to understand the ramifications. Dudes a Muppet. my first thought was “Trump got his ‘yes man’ who will do what Pence wouldn’t.”

Fellow ohioan as well, and since he has been our senator, I’ve seen him as the walking definition of the German word backpfeifengesicht. He seemed like a weasel to me from the get-go, and I could not for the life of me figure out why.
