    This looks pretty damn legit! Usually the downside with holding up counters is you effectively lose a turn if the opponent doesn’t play anything worth countering. The backup mode is actually proper card draw at about the usual price.

      Yeah this is fantastic at the “do X, draw 2” instant for 4. Surveil 2 is already good but stapled to a counterspell is some really good gravy on top
