    Well said. The far right has very convoluted opinions on power, always seeking it, yet never taking any personal responsibility for the results of the actual power they do wield. Very two-faced, and rooted in their fundamental lack of belief in the importance of objective factuality, where they instead prefer factuality to be subjective and enforced through the threat of violence. Which they will, yet again, take no personal responsibility for.

    This is how authoritarianism twists your mind. Once immersed in it to the point that it feels “natural”, it becomes very tempting to always fall back into it out of convenience, and a desire to justify the suffering of the past.
