Hot damn! Great job with the plating.

On a side note… your reply presumably includes an imbedded image. I haven’t used kbin in months, but when I last checked the uploaded in-line pictures only display on kbin, and not lemmy. If you edit the comment and add this to your reply:

    ![](https://kbin.run/media/69/35/69356aacd38eddde6eed7fb0276533b99d64fedb5ffe0366626a10fcdefe713d.jpg)

This should render it in-line for both kbin and lemmy. It’s a pita, and part of why I switched.

Edit: just checked your home instance and that’s indeed what happened. I updated the code block to include your url.

Thanks for the heads-up on the embedded images, that is indeed a PITA. I’ve stuck with kbin/mbin because I browse on desktop and am not a fan of Lemmy’s UI. Maybe I’ll take a look at it again at some point.

I agree, the bins look so much better out of the box. The default lemmy interface is just… no. It’s why when I took the plunge post-rexodus I went with kbin.social. But that went pear-shaped, so I started shopping around. I liked the look and feel of Voyager, which an instance can implement as an optional front end in addition to having web app and standalone app options on mobile. So I found a home instance on lemmy and haven’t really looked back.
