Game was shined to a sheen it has no flaws. Graphical masterpiece of the generation even puts mgs to shame. Banger soundtrack to boot

The whole series ended on a cliffhanger and I’m still pissed about it.
Defiance is omega poo so i stopped caring cos the game rubbed me the wrong way so bad.
I’d love to see it revisited but i don’t think it could ever be done.
I was absolutely obsessed with SR2 as a kid, replayed it so many times.
I think they could and absolutely should reboot it. The lore, the characters, the world was really something else. I think if they were to revisit it and utilise modern advances to really go HARD on the atmosphere and world design, it could be amazing.
The Dead Space remake is a perfect example of this. It’s stayed mostly true to the original and used the new graphical and lighting technology available to make the environment and atmosphere so much deeper and more immersive. I’ve heard the RE4 remake also did it well but I’ve not played it yet.
EA axed the dead space remake team i think cos capitalism hates good things. The remake was brilliant though it took perfection and improved upon it. RE4 remake is brilliant, i didn’t even like re4 original that much and preferred the remake
Soul reaver but as a soulslike would be an interesting concept.
