So? What harm is it doing?

Best case: personal products become more available so kids who need something harmless can get it. Oh no, societal collapse.

Worst case: you’re all right, it’s a huge performative stunt meant to push some ideology, and you all are falling for it hook, line and sinker by getting outraged.

Either way, outrage here is dumb. People trying to make people question it are dumb. The fact that we have literally millions of public, gender-neutral bathrooms across the country that have vending machines that dispense condoms, tampons, mouthwash, cologne and other personal products, and nobody has said SHIT about those, should be all you need to understand that any negative engagement you’re feeling here is a trick, a scam, a grift or manipulative tactic for some rich fucks to win an election.

    I wonder what’s more likely here… I wonder…

it’s not doing any harm, it’s just pointless.

Male friend of mine had a sister in a lower year at school. She hadn’t gotten her period yet but she had an emergency pack with her in the event it started for the first time at school. As a good big brother he also kept stuff in his back pack in the event it was easier or more discreet for her to go ask him.

I remember him telling us and some of our other male friends asking if we’ve every gotten caught out without any products - when we said yes, a few of them said they were happy to carry some around in the event we needed it.

There are all kinds of reasons to normalise natural bodily functions so that all children can grow up less ignorant and with more compassion for their fellow human being.

Unless you have friends who menstruate. :b You sound like you have no clue what it’s like to need a tampon and not have one. It’s truly a miserable experience and a friend with any sort of menstrual product on hand is a gift.

It’s so easy to do this and everyone benefits. Boys and men can help girls and women with issues and vice versa, it doesn’t have to be weird. Not to mention trans people exist.

yeah, because I’m a guy. It’s an issue that doesn’t affect someone like me.
