I agree, when a speaker say “Freedom to be allowed to be who you are.” I clearly understand that as including transgender. Actually I hear that as specifically including transgender, because there is no other group where that is more pronounced.
Luckily democrats have moved in the right direction on these issues for the past few years, but unfortunately republicans have not.
