Edit: it’s a meme y’all, chill out. The original was “stop doing math”, it’s not supposed to be serious.

Ok and what is your suggestion for dealing with the fact that good players will constantly curbstomp

Just admit that bad players deserve their own places to play the game on the same level and move on, you having to fight other good players isn’t oppression lmao

Did you ever play any multiplayer PC shooters before, like, 2005? I’m guessing not because you seem to think this is about good players wanting to stop bad players all day.

I’ve never been better than average at CS 1.5, but it was fine because everyone was just playing games for fun where nothing mattered, there wasn’t even any kind of persistent stat tracking. People weren’t constantly at your fucking throat because your non-meta playstyle was hurting their personal rank and costing them battle pass points or whatever the fuck. Sometimes a really good player would join and you’d fuck around doing some guerilla warfare for a bit trying to catch the AWP god off guard until he got bored and left. And if your team went 0-10 it didn’t really matter because when the map changed the score number was reset and had no effect on anything, anywhere.

I dislike every multiplayer FPS game I’ve played since TF2 specifically because I’m a bad casual and with SBMM and ranked modes becoming the default there’s no room left for people who just want to chill out and play a game without studying metagames and strategies and other sweaty tryhard bullshit because even at the lowest levels your teammates will take personal offense to anything less than perfection and will go above and beyond to make your game as miserable as possible as retribution for your crimes.

    • Lmao I’m really, really bad at multiplayer fps games. It took me 90 hours to reach silver 2 in cs, I’m usually bottom quintile in TF2 leaderboards and my battlefield kdr is like 0.2. The reason I like community servers isn’t because I get to curbstomp bad poster players, it’s because community servers have a really random assortment of people. I enjoy being in the same room with a guy dominating the server, the guy dicking around and everyone else. If your can’t get off spawn due to an annoying player, that sucks. But in most instances I just learned to have fun losing.
