Neo Launcher i think is the closest to Nova.
Yes, you could also look at Neo Launcher or Shade Launcher, both at in the F-Droid repo by Izzy
Tried shade… I can hide icons, but how do i create folders?
And there’s no gesture support
Shade seems not to have been updated in…three years. I’d guess it’s dead.

Crashed often, some things aren’t well thought out! I’ll let it brew for a few more years.
