PS: of course they are in a situation where every milliseconds they can gain, including by restricting their car’s weight, is essential.
Is RB overweight? I can’t imagine 6oz of paint instead of 6oz of weights at the floor is worth much time.
The position of the weight and its effect on the centre of gravity would affect time.
Then there is the effect of the paint on airflow to consider.
