Zak said in the pre race show that he has “2 number 1 drivers” so that is how they drive.
Now speculation mode on: I think behind the scenes Piastri’s manager Mark Webber is pulling some serious strings so his driver will not be treated as a number 2 driver…or should I say…Multi21 driver. Webber’s been in that situation and he’ll make very sure it ain’t happening under his watch again.
Finally a good start, still losing places.
40% risk of rain it just said 🌧️
Seems to be pretty difficult to pass usually but yeah i hope Max (and Perez) can fight their way up a bit.
Agreed, yesterday I said Vowles was on a roll, but the more I think about it the more I feel he was being a jerk without any reason and it doesn’t fit him.
At this point I am hoping Logan’s car will not be fixed so he cannot ruin the qualification session.
No drama:
Red Bull have confirmed that there will be a change on Sergio Perez’s side of the garage for the foreseeable future, with long-time Race Engineer Hugh Bird going on paternity leave.
The shorter drs zone seemed to have shown much less overtakes this race. Not sure if I’m liking that or not.
Sorry guys for the duplicate discussion posts, the scheduler was a bit iffy.
The thirst is real.
Taxes, death and Ruth Buscombe saying “as a strategist” during race weekends.
He never left, he was just never challenged anymore i think.
I think Perez damaged his car with Piastri and thus could not go flat out.
If you want to pass Verstappen in a championship fight you better be 110% sure you make the move stick and be ahead.
It is not crashtappen vibes I got, I got 2021 vibes instead :)
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think it should have been penalty, but the previous laps were pretty hard defending from Verstappen and Norris was already complaining (imo way too much) so I figured it was the last straw and he’d have to give the position back.
I don’t think it should be a penalty if you push someone off the track. But in this case I am not too sure.
If you say his name very fast….
