Good lord, they made their own software license for this?
It’s an ancient app that looks like shit on modern windows. It has little value beyond nostalgia. They should have picked an off the shelf license or not even bothered. I just can’t fathom the effort required to make up a software licensing scheme for such a forgettable product.
I don’t think “forgettable” is the right word, but “obsolete” would be.
That may be so, but it is the only software that does whip the llama’s ass.
Their licence seems to be “you can contribute but you can’t do anything else”, which licence would be most like that?
You know, the “we want people to work on it for free” licence.
There’s other projects with that kind of license? (Open source for review and push requests, but close to fork and redistribution)
