Didn’t waste my time or energy arguing with him but it was always funny at my last job to hear the rundown of the outrage du jour from my chud boss during the day and then get home at night and look up how far from reality his understanding was.

One that comes to mind is when he came in and said they caught Hillary paying somebody to hack into the servers at Trump tower and there was no way even the famously liberals fbi could not charge her for this one.

Turned out somebody who worked for the Clinton campaign 5 years ago (wanna say like axlerod or somebody of similar ilk) was now teaching a cybersecurity class at a college. As one of their excises they used publicly available information of internet traffic to see what they could learn about a business, they chose to look at the traffic in and out of Trump towers.

The lib teaching the class thought it was suspicious how much of the traffic was coming from Russia and submitted a complaint to ehatver agency handles that shit.

The three letter agency they submitted the complaint to said “this isn’t unusual and doesn’t nearly rise to the level of submitting a complaint, please dont abuse the system in this way in the future or well have to send this same email again”

It was like that every single day with a different topic.

At one point he went on a rant about how a nearby city cracking down on air bnbs was just because the local hotels told the local government to do so.

I told him no, it’s because you couldn’t find a rental in the city because every rental property had been turned into an air bmb for the summer tourist season and it was almost impossible to find a place to rent for more than 8 months, also the hotels in questions were fully booked 9 months in advance, they definitely didn’t need to do anything to drive up business.

He nodded along and said that made sense, until his friend came in 20 minutes later and he launched right back into the same speech about how the hotels were twisting the governments arm to get them to outlaw air bnbs so they can make are money.

That’s when I realized it was completely pointless to engage at all. Fortunately it was a stop gap job until I found a better one. Right as I was leaving he had to move out of his office and start working out of his basement from lack of work. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the fact he started including that if you didn’t support the second ammendment he wouldn’t work for you in his contracts, or the incredibly blurry printed out jpeg of Mike Lindell smothering Biden with a pillow on the fridge right next to the front door.
