      It’s standard practice for the prosecution and the defense to let the judge know how long they’ll need to prepare for the case. The more evidence the prosecution has compiled, the more time the defense can reasonably request to go through it.

      Theyve got a right to a timely process. Assuming this is part for what the judge is expecting I see no issue.
