He is a Norwegian forest cat. They usually have large coats nearly all year round. It’s honestly a pain to deal with, because of all the hair that gets thrown around the house, and get stuck in furniture. But it’s worth it!! And yes, fathers (cat or human) are always possessive of their chairs!
