Yeah, it was a serious question. I’ve heard that they’ve apparently displayed some sentient behaviours, but I’m not very knowledgeable on this topic.
Mushrooms iirc are basically the “fruit” part of mycelium, eating a mushroom is about the equivalent of eating an apple
