Reality has a well-known Russian propaganda bias.

It seems that lately Western media has started “parroting Russian talking points.” Is it because all this Russian propaganda is so incredibly effective, or is it because truths are becoming harder and harder to suppress? This week:

    .
Western media parroted Russian talking points before 2022 as well, but somehow in February of that year they stopped 🤔

You know why I keep engaging with you? It’s because it’s like visiting a museum exhibit about Soviet propaganda. Amusing in weird sort of way. Your use of Russian propaganda is so exemplary it’s honestly rather impressive. I mean, Russian propaganda is shit rhetoric, any 16-year old with an average media literacy from my country could break down these childish lists of yours. You just rely on “if they start engaging, I can sealion endlessly”, and think people don’t understand what you’re doing.

Just like how you keep avoiding the question of if you’re pro-Russian or not. Which is again hilarious in itself, since you do keep insisting you’re a red-blooded American, but won’t go so far as to lie about not being pro-Russian, which is painfully obvious to everyone.

Are you pro-Russian? Do you wish to give Putler oral pleasure?

Take a look at the content they constantly remove in the mod logs. They can’t stand anyone that backs up their argument factually, yet does nothing but post their copypasta propaganda here for anyone ignorant enough to read it.

Seriously. Check their removals against the actual rules. Because unless Rule 1 clearly states:

        Don’t post things I don’t like

The overwhelming majority of the shit they remove and ban people for- doesn’t break any rules at all.

Oh yeah I know. The first time I ever commented something to him, it took him less than two comments to start making threats with his mod status.

A very clear Russian troll. Claims to be American, but I seriously doubt it. A Putler loving American? Must have a lot of friends. :D

          I seriously don’t understand why lemmy.world federates with lemmy.ml

I think it’s because .world and .ml are the two largest instances. As nice and and as blissfully peaceful as it would be to defederate from the bad faith rhetoric in .ml, it would be disastrous for lemmy as a whole.

And I’m pretty sure both sides know this.

Mutually Assured Destruction between the East and the West, you say?

Sounds like something our friend @davel@davel@lemmy.ml would know about, but as usual he ran before he dirtied his nice profile too badly. There’s only so long he can avoid being directly asked if he’s pro-Russian or not. Which we all know he is.

All I did was post links to Western media sources, so I don’t see how that could be “a museum exhibit about Soviet propaganda.”

Edit to add: If you don’t want people to see links to Western media, maybe don’t @ me next time 🤷

Have you forgotten who @-ed who in this thread, or who has demanded an answer to this question a dozen times or more now, despite my having given rather detailed answers months ago?

I’ve asked you a simple yes or no question several dozens of times, over the course of months. You pathologically avoid it. Pathologically.

I @ you because I know your ego can’t handle me calling you the obvious pro-Ruski you are. You are constantly promoting Russian views, calling Ukrainians Nazis, etc, etc, etc.

You still can’t respond to a single yes-or no question. This isn’t about you “having a reasoned discussion.” It’s me baiting you into interacting with me, because you’re blind to how obvious of a propaganda troll you are. You personally remind me of visiting an exhibition of Soviet propaganda. Perhaps you just don’t know where the techniques you use are from, idk. It’s just… hilarious.

Your English also has several tells. You won’t believe me, but it does.

You simply can not answer any questions about Russian politics or whether you agree with them, but instead spend all of your time on Lemmy defending everything they’re saying and saying that all “western media” is “parroting Russian talking points”.

You’re willing to lie about being a red-blooded American, but you’re not willing to lie about being against Russia. You just don’t understand how ironic that is. You don’t understand just how much it gives away about you. Like I said, it’s weirdly amusing.

              #Are you pro-Russian? YES / NO?

You have never answered the question. Which is evident to anyone who looks. :D This is very entertaining. In a slightly concerning way.

Your English also has several tells.

I don’t know if you’re living in your own fantasy world, or if you think anyone reading this is going to believe your own ham-fisted attempts at propaganda. Since virtually no one read this far deep into a thread, I’m beginning to think it might be the former, because what’s point of making up bullshit like this if no one’s going to read it?

So to recap, you’re a red-blooded American communist who believes Ukraine is full of Nazis, and are pro-Russian?

Edit also you do realise the votes pretty clearly show several people interacting with this through votes, so ofc it’s being read lol

Picked one of your random article links. Here’s a quote.

To be clear, the Kremlin’s claims that Ukraine is a hornets’ nest of fascists are false: far-right parties performed poorly in Ukraine’s last parliamentary elections, and Ukrainians reacted with alarm to the National Militia’s demonstration in Kiev. But connections between law enforcement agencies and extremists give Ukraine’s Western allies ample reason for concern. C14 and Kiev’s city government recently signed an agreement allowing C14 to establish a “municipal guard” to patrol the streets; three such militia-run guard forces are already registered in Kiev, and at least 21 operate in other cities.
