Why not post the official source? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/117.0beta/releasenotes/
Thanks
Is it weird I actually look forward to seeing these release logs being posted on here lol
Not at all weird. There’s a whole underground community of people who view release logs as basically fetish pr0n.
I thought I just wanted to know what changed. Now I’m a fetishist!
PATCHNOTESWHEN #PathOfExile understands
I noticed this too. Whenever I really like a piece of software I’m eager to get update notes, because I trust the folks behind those projects to actually improve things and add interesting new stuff. It’s just a nice feeling to see a good thing get even better.
Do I need to finish the previous 116 to understand the story?
Looks like the translations are this project, currently looks like it’s available as an addon but i guess after this release it’ll be on the core browser maybe?
Filling forms in your language which gets then translated to the form’s language is a brilliant feature
Has anyone else noticed mousewheel scroll speed being a lot higher with this update (Windows)? Rolled back and the speed is back to normal.
Changing
mousewheel.default.delta_multiplier_y
from100
to99
also fixes the problem and firefox 117 then behaves the same as all previous versions.Nothing whatsoever is mentioned in the changelog regarding mousewheel scroll behavior changes, except for https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1753033, but that should only affect linux and only wayland?
