Lemmy stopped imagine uploading for now due to some spamming of images. Hopefully they’ll turn it back on soon.

There’s been a rampant uptick in child sexual assault material(CSAM) being uploaded with intent to harm lemmy groups. So many servers are going the extreme route and not allowing image uploads, I assume that’s what your issue is.
