Decades of getting played and you would think they would have learned by now.
It would require them to address literally decades of being lied to by Democratic leadership. It upends the entire worldview and brand loyalism that the modern, corporate enterprise, which is the DNC depends upon.
Republicans are who they say they are, and they do what they say they’ll do. They are a known quantity: predictable if vile. Democrats are actually lying to your face about their intentions to take the will of the voters seriously. Democrats own the lion-share of this march towards fascism because they’ve refused to take their roles seriously. They aren’t any more interested in Democracy than the fascists: they and their consultants just want to get paid (with a very small number of exceptions who are almost unilaterally sidelined by the mainstream DNC). Its all cosplay. The DNC is a self-serving joke and are directly responsible for the path we’re on.
