He views China as imperialist to my knowledge. He’s a socialist but he isn’t very well read so he has weaknesses in viewing AES other than Cuba, and really in general ideologically
i don’t think that’s an accurate framing of his views on china. he pretty regularly defends

unironically. there’s small amounts of criticism in his coverage, but overall i’d say he’s one of the few people i’ve seen actively combat sinophobia, such as shouting at people who are serious about social credit score shit or talking about how the most famous talk show host is a trans woman or defending chinese investments in Africa
