The book was pretty solid. It alluded to the uglier side of American history that my highschool was glossing over. Stuff like eugenics, genocide, experiments done on indigenous and black populations, and old timey takes on people of different races hooking up (word is failing me at the moment) were all being covered in this fantasy land.
