      It shouldn’t, but to be honest, I haven’t reached the requirements for an achievement yet since doing this, so I can’t tell you with absolute certainty

      Hey, just to get back to you. Just got an achievement with this enabled. Works fine! Even registered in Steam properly.

        Thanks, great! I also changed this setting a few days ago, because it just feels bad if the factory stands still just because I am picking a new technology to research.
