Not that this instance isn’t great, but the point of the fediverse is to interconnect different instances, yeah? But some/most instances seem to block these communities from searches unless you’re signed into their instance with an account or into another instance and, I assume, allow NSFW in your settings. I know they’re supposed to pop up if they are searched for from another instance, but how is the name of the community supposed to be found out if it can’t be found from outside that instance?

As an example, if you search go to !wetpussys@lemmit.online from here, you can see the community, but if you go to it from lemmit.online, there’s nothing there. You can’t even see it in the community list. I’m not sure how it got connected here, but as far as anyone outside of that instance can tell, it doesn’t exist.
