Summary

In 2024, conservative-leaning online spaces emphasizing traditional masculinity gained mainstream influence, driven by figures like Joe Rogan and trends like the “tradwife” movement.

Platforms like X, under Elon Musk’s ownership, became hubs for anti-“woke” sentiment, while podcasting further amplified right-wing ideas.

This cultural shift mirrored Trump’s election victory and reflected backlash against progressive gender norms.

Though some view these spaces as promoting traditional values, critics warn of growing misogyny and radicalization in the “manosphere.”

The rise of such spaces highlights deepening political polarization online.

she’s not “being taken advantage of”, she had to be in the scam and offered a cut because why would she get in in the first place. she’s just in the finding out stage

if anything your empathy seems to be misplaced

Really? You do know people can be offered a cut of a scam without knowing it’s a scam, right?

And no, my empathy is not misplaced. I don’t even know how it is possible for empathy to be misplaced. I’m not sure you understand the concept if you say something like that. It’s like saying “you don’t think the thing you’re laughing at is funny” or “that thing you’re crying about doesn’t make you sad.”

Pretty gross you’re treating a grown woman as a naive child tbh. She’s an adult with agency and ignorance isn’t an excuse.

And they’ve already iterated that if she is found liable she should be prosecuted. Their point is that they simply feel sorry for her because of that ignorance.

I’m sure the people scammed out of their money feel really bad she was so ignorant she couldn’t do a tiny bit of research on the thing she was promoting.

I think I got your point we just disagree about the culpability and responsibility of (willful) ignorance bruh.

Sorry… are you saying that only children deserve empathy?

She’s an adult with agency and ignorance isn’t an excuse.

Then it’s a good thing I have said multiple times now that she should be prosecuted if there is call to prosecute her.
