minus-squareHTTP_404_NotFound@lemmyonline.comlinkfedilinkarrow-up9arrow-down1·2 years agoIn all fairness- I kind of want a bunch of the reddit users… to STAY on reddit, away from lemmy. The conversation quality recently on reddit has went WAAAY down.
minus-squareLabototmized@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up6·2 years agoAnd the conversation quality in the fediverse is fantastic!
minus-squarefsk@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up7·2 years agoThat isn’t the way the Internet works. If the 220k lemmy users were the most active out of the 800m, then reddit is basically dead.
minus-squareFalmarri@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·2 years agoIs it really that high? That’s pretty impressive for what has it been, 2 weeks? I know a lot of people have said this, but I’m thinking once the 3rd party apps go dark we might get another spike here
minus-squareChadarius@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up2·2 years agoLemmy/kbin is over 1m now. Growing at about 200-300k per day over the last week or so.
minus-squareInteresting_Test_814@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up0arrow-down1·2 years agoThe 1m+ figure is mostly bots flooding open instances though, real figures are probably closer to 200-300k
minus-squareAlternativeEmphasis@kbin.sociallinkfedilinkarrow-up2·2 years agoTrue, but reddit’s portion of bots is also massive. Anecdotally I saw bots constantly in reddit’s comments. I have yet to see one in the fediverse so far.
minus-squareLabototmized@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·2 years agoI saw a tl;dr bot yesterday and I was so surprised! Most of the time I hate bots but that one is actually pretty valuable I think.
minus-squareDLAN@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·2 years agoSort by new, you see them a bit more. Seems mods are on top of things cleaning them up though.
