hey there, i need some Book suggestions. I love Fantasy/Urban Fantasy and Space Opera First things first MC must be female. I realy love Kate Daniels from Ilona Andrews or Elena Guild Hunter Series from Nalini Singh or The Innkeeper Series from Ilona Andrews.

I hate when a man appears and the Mc is sudenly helpless, to do shit by herself.

I like Happy Endings and absolute hate if the Autor kills a important Charakter of. I want Adult Fantasy and no YA, because i want the full picture if its a brutal Fight let it be brutal and if there is a steamy Scene so be it. By YA i always feel something is missing.

i don’t like big Conspiracies, but its not a no no.

I don’t like Classics Like Lord of the Rings…

Some Books that are my absolut Favorite: Urban Fantasy: Kate Daniels series Ilona andrews Innkepper series Ilona Andrews House Baylor series Ilona Andrews Guild Hunter Series Nalini singh Mercy Thompson series Patricia Briggs Omega series Patricia Briggs Jane Yellowrock series Faith Hunter T.a. White

Space Opera/Scifi: Class 5 series Michelle Diener Vatta Wars Elisabeth moon Galactic Bonds Jennifer Estep Jessie Mihalik T.a. White

Most Characters of these Books are Ready for a Fight/ Merchanary / or Soldiers Idk i really like Strong Woman

Thanks for Suggestions

    • A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking, T Kingfisher. Technically YA, but still a brilliant book that doesn’t shy away from being real. If doesn’t feel YA. T Kingfisher has plenty of other options to choose from as well.
    • Legends and Lattes, Baldree. On the lighter and simpler side, enjoyable characters and character development.
    • Of Shadow and Sea, Will Wight. Multiple strong female protags and with MC being an assassin, there’s plenty of stabbing. Part of trilogy.
    • The Hollow Places, T. Kingfisher. More on the horror side of fantasy. Continues to have lovable characters
    • The Murderbot Diaries, Martha Wells. Hilarious, sometimes violent, sci Fi. I guess technically not a female protags?
    • Gideon the Ninth, Tamsyn Muir. Sci Fi with fantasy feel. Plenty violent, mystery, great female protags and characters, can be difficult to follow but still thoroughly enjoyable.
    • Iron Widow, Xiran Jay Zhao. Sci Fi alternate History China with mech warriors. Murder and power to stop girls from being sacrificed. Fun for the whole family.
    • Rosemary and Rue, Seanan McGuire. Urban faerie fantasy and investigator noir book one. She has a couple of urban fantasy series you may be interested in.
