As an American, I hope my Lemm.ee data is not stored in the US and so could not be subpeonaed, taken down, etc… by this corrupt government.

Fediverse data is extremely public. Even if Lemm.ee isn’t US hosted (I have no idea either way), it’s certainly federated with instances in the US.
That makes sense. thanks. But I still hope the servers can’t be taken offline by US authorities.
Find yourself an instance that’s not in the us. You can always just move to a federated instance
