I am a complete noob when it comes to crypto and would like to buy some and use it for an anonymous transaction. But I don’t know how to though.

Can I buy it with my credit card? What are some good wallets or buying authority? Should I go for an international one or stay local?

Create an account on a trading site. I’ve generally had good experience with gemini.com. You’ll have to do the whole legal process of confirming your identity with a government ID because they report your profits/losses to the IRS for capital gains taxes. From there, you can use a credit card or bank transfer to buy. Once you have some, you can try to transfer it to another wallet or another exchange to “anonymize” it, but keep in mind that it’s all traceable given sufficient effort by someone trying to track it down. Some currencies are better at hiding that stuff (Monero, maybe?).

If you really want something close to anonymity and quick and easy, your best bet is to find someone you know in real life and give them cash to transfer to your offline wallet.

as with any gambling, do not put in more than you’re willing to part with.

odds are against you making any money, and if you do, there are people out there smarter than you that will figure out a way to keep it from you.

If you want it to be anonymous, you’ll want to get XMR (Monero). The easiest way to do that is to get Cake Wallet, obtain other crypto from somewhere like Binance, then swap it to Monero.

I use Binance, you can use your card there, fees are like 4%. I prefer USDT because there is volatility/exchange rate risk with non-stablecoins but you may not have a choice depending on the seller. If you want to avoid the 4% fee do a SEPA transfer.

I use Trust Wallet. Is it perfectly safe? No, but for payments its good enough.
