If you have much in the way of network infrastructure (switches, APs, security cameras, etc.) then some kind of monitoring to alert you if any of it is down. Xymon or LibreNMS for example.

What all do you host on the raspberry pi? I’d like to start self hosting some stuff as well but I’m not really sure where to start but I do already have a pi 4 so I figured I can do some things with that. I’d like to set up a full NAS/cloud storage eventually but I’m guessing I’ll need dedicated hardware for that.
