Some more from one of my favourite “trashy” thrash metal bands. Very reminiscent of Destruction and Kreator. This particular song is a homage to heavy metal influences as well, and of course the legend himself.

What makes it trashy? The shitty production? I love it, every piece of this has a purpose, including the production! It’s a work of love and it’s decent to listen to as well!
I’m not saying it is in any way bad. I fucking love it as well. It’s just got that “trashy” or zero fucks given attitude. It has zero innovation but the band is aware of that.
It’s like how I would describe Venom as trashy: (you know I love them) the production is ass, the skill and technicality isn’t exactly outstanding. But they have that attitude and outright coarseness and creativity, which makes it one of my favourite bands of all time. Full of emotion and imperfections which make it brilliant. And more importantly, it just sounds fucking amazing.
So yeah, trashy, as in the style, rather than the quality of the music. In fact I even wear a t-shirt of this album because I like this band so much.
Yea I can see what you mean by that, almost like junk food or fast food, as opposed to something gourmet lol. I guess the main difference between these guys and Venom is that Venom came around first and truly pioneered something.
